Handmade Finishes LLC is a Northern Colorado and Denver Metro cabinet refinishing and interior painting company built on preparation, patience, and honest communication.
The person behind the work
This is a small, owner-operated shop serving homeowners across Northern Colorado and the Denver metro. The same person who answers your first email is the one planning the finish, overseeing preparation, and walking the job at the end.
The business grew out of a simple belief: most homes already have good bones, and the right finish can make a kitchen or bath feel brand new without the waste, timeline, and cost of starting over. That belief still drives every project we take on.
How we work

Preparation first
A finish only looks as good as the surface beneath it. Doors are labeled and removed, hardware is cataloged, and every piece is cleaned, degreased, and sanded before the first coat is considered.
Honest recommendations
We tell you when refinishing is the right choice and when it is not. If boxes are failing or the layout needs to change, we will say so before a contract is signed.
Daily-use durability
Kitchens are hard on surfaces. We choose cabinet-grade coatings and apply them with the cure time and care needed to stand up to real life, not just a photo shoot.
Respect for your home
Floors are protected, dust is contained, and the parts of your home still in use stay usable. Cleanup happens every day, not just at the end.
